📜 The Encounter with the Judgment Snake

What this is all about:

The first appearance of the Judgment Snake was the night of Nov 16 2022 two and a half months after the distressing void-type near death experience had left me completely depressed, nihilistic, and hopeless about what the point is of my life or even the universe's life if everything ultimately dies

And all I could really think about at that time was, I don't know what to do, I don't know what to do, I don't know what to do, what do I do

What I saw was very sudden: it was as if it was above the Walmart (I was in the parking lot), and it looked like I was in some cloudy area in the sky, so small standing in front of an impossibly massive cobra rearing up, gold and radiant, crowned, her glowing eyes staring intensely at me

And she told me: BRING DEEDS

I still don't know what the point of all this is, I still don't know what we're here for or why, I'm still an atheist which means when I ask "what do I do" there isn't anything there to answer me

But since then, every day I just focus on what I can do, and every day I bring what I did to the snake

❤️‍🔥 Lithuanian House Snake (Žaltys)

A photo of multiple snake figurines on a black shelf against a tan wall. On the left is a tall bronze sculpture of a coiled cobra rearing up and flaring its hood. In its coils is a gold and green sculpture of the face of Medusa with her hair as many snakes. In the foreground is a small red resin sculpture of a snake wrapped around a bowl with a sphere in it. On the right is a circular wooden altar with three legs. A red resin sculpture of a cobra sits on top of the altar, draped in countless items of jewelry. Other offerings, including coins, bones, and seashells, are placed on the altar around the snake.

Žaltys: snake, Lithuanian symbol. "To ensure the prosperity of family and field, a žaltys was kept in a special corner of the house, and the entire household gathered at specified times to recite prayers to it."

🔆 For Eden Knight

Eden Knight (she/her) was a young trans woman, LGBTQ+ activist, computer science student, "concerned with making the world a better place", "a light in the trans community", and one of my followers on social media. I never got the chance to talk to her before she was coercively taken from the United States to Saudi Arabia by fixers Michael Pocalyko and Ellen Cole of SPECINV Special Investigations, and lawyer Bader Alomair of the Washington D.C. Saudi Embassy; forcibly detransitioned by her father Fahad Ibrahim Alshathri (CEO of the Saudi Arabian General Authority for Competition); and was driven to suicide in March 2023. Eden was only 23 years old. Every day I think about what happened to her.

"If you wonder why a lot of trans people and allies have the 🔆 emoji in their name or bio right now it's in memory of Eden Knight, as she used that emoji more than any other."

"the brightness emoji is for the sun cult, a joke made [by] eden knight, who was a trans girl that was trafficked back to saudi arabia where she committed suicide. it's a way to memorialize her."

"My son loved her more than anything. She would play with him and teach him things, such as this cute game where you'd run up and hug someone — she said it's a Saudi thing. She cared for him as if they were related. My spouse and I gave her a bracelet with the word 'Aunt' etched into it."

"I wanted to be a leader for people like me, but that wasn’t written to happen. I hope that the world gets better for us. I hope our people get old. I hope we get to see our kids grow up to fight for us. I hope for trans rights world wide." —Eden Knight
